Galway Capital is also registered with the Texas State Securities Board as a broker/dealer. With these credentials, Galway Capital works effectively and efficiently with its clients to provide a full range of registered capital market transactions.
Galway Capital has developed relationships with numerous private capital firms, institutions, and international merchant banks, providing various types of financing such as senior debt, subordinated debt, convertible securities, project financing, equity, venture capital, and structured finance. The normal transactions for these capital providers range from $10 million to $250 million. The keys to success in acquiring capital are to establish and maintain relationships with the institutional investors that have unique capital sources, and to develop effective presentations that convey the strengths of the client company.
In undertaking engagements for private equity placements, Galway Capital first assists its clients by conducting an in-depth review of the entity's financial situation and business plan as the precursor to determining strategic alternatives for the capital structure. Galway Capital offers advice on the equity options, prepares private placement memoranda, distributes information to selected equity sources, evaluates offers, assists with negotiations, and works to close the transaction to the client's satisfaction.
Galway also assists clients with arrangements for various types of debt financing, including senior and subordinated offerings. These approaches can be structured with both current and deferred return components, with the latter usually taking the form of equity options or warrants.
